Living in Atlanta, working in Stone Mountain

Few experiences challenge and reward you like living and working in another country. Life gave me the opportunity of enjoying the excitement and thrill of doing it.
Any corner of the world was fine to me... all of a sudden I was standing in front of those little kids who were sitting there...expecting the unexpected...until I started talking and those shinny little eyes sparked... I was from another country...If It weren´t for that last minute map that I took with me that day I am not sure I would have been able to show them where I came from...Chile...a long and narrow country at the end of the world as I always learned at school...It was not China just sounded simmilar and Jackie Chan was definetely not my husband...or brother... When someone just greeted me saying "adios amigos" I knew we had just left China...That was a good start!!
Day after they I learned from them...and hopefully they did the same...I was there to make a difference in those little ones´ lives...but I ended up when 700 kids engraved in my heart, as well as all those soft- hearted teachers from whom I keep the best memories...
Looking forward to visiting ya´ll soon.

What I strongly believe in...

  • I strongly believe all students can learn.
  • I strongly believe our role, in the community, is to encourage students to learn, explore and reach their fully potential and goals.
  • I strongly believe people should learn about diversity to understand those that are different in an unbiased atmosphere.
  • I strongly believe students should embrace each other’s strength and help one another through their weaknesses in a challenging learning community.
  • I strongly believe we can still believe...

keep on Soaring High...
